It’s Here: Announcing our 2017/2018 Season!

We open our 97th season with the Tony Award©-winning musical

With a perfect combination of street-smarts and optimism, Annie will warm your hearts as you witness her rise from next-to-nothing in 1930s New York City.  She is determined to find her parents, who left her at the orphanage years ago in the clutches of the evil Miss Hannigan. In adventure after adventure, with the help of the other orphans, Annie manages to foil Miss Hannigan’s greedy plans and find a new family with billionaire Oliver “Daddy” Warbucks, his secretary Grace Farrell and her lovable dog, Sandy.

A perfect outing for the whole family, Annie is directed by Brian Mulvey, with musical direction by Ron Procopio and choreography by Leslie Racine Vazquez, and runs November 10-12 and 17-19, 2017.

In January we present Joseph Bologna and Renee Taylor’s hilarious comedy

A hit on Broadway and later on film, LOVERS and Other Strangers  is a series of vignettes, each dealing with the ups and downs of marriage.  Each story features partners of varied ages, from a young couple experiencing cold feet before the wedding to a long-married couple who have fought for over thirty years, trying to save their son’s marriage by admitting their own failings.

LOVERS and Other Strangers will be co-directed by Tony Annicone, Dan Fisher and Christopher Margadonna.  January 12-14 and 19-21, 2018.

We close out our season with the musical

Directed by Andrew g. Bobola. A quartet of four high school pals get together and discover their mutual love of music, especially the close harmony of their idols – The Four Freshman, The Hi-Lo’s and The Crew Cuts, and soon start rehearsing their music together.  Naming themselves “Forever Plaid” they are on their way to their first gig when they are broadsided by a school bus and killed.  The play begins with the wondrous Plaids returning from the afterlife for one final chance at musical glory.  Take a trip back to the 1950s and rediscover the fun and music of the “guy groups” of that time and musical favorites like Three Coins in the Fountain, Sixteen Tons,  Catch a Falling Star and more!  April 13-15 & 20-22, 2018.

Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30, with Sunday matinees at 2:00 at Jenks Auditorium, 350 Division Street, Pawtucket, RI (across from McCoy Stadium).
